Greetings from India

Hello and greetings from India. Today we have the afternoon pretty much free so I thought I'd take some time to tell you what we've been up to lately. We travelled to Hyderbad to days ago and attended a English church service in which we performed a song for them and one of us (Sarah) did a testimony. Then we went to a church commissioning service, in which we did the same thing except that that one lasted for about 3 hours. I guess it was the first service of that church. So then we drove back to Bapatla, where we are staying for the next couple days and driving to nearby towns/cities to go to worship meetings. Its an eight hour drive from Hyderbad Bapatla so we've been doing a lot of driving lately. Everything's been going mainly well, Sarah's better but last night Kevin started to get sick. So if you can pray that he gets better that would be great. With all these people getting sick it has become a personal mission for me and Ian to not get sick. We would like to stay healthy the whole time. So we'd appreciate your prayers that we succeed in this endeavour. A personal issue for me is the tea. Since no one has addressed this in earlier entries I will now explain. Tea (and Coffee) in India is not made the way we make it. They don't use any water and instead make it with Water Buffalo Milk and a lot of sugar. Now while it does actually taste pretty good it doesn't taste like tea and I would really like a cup of tea. But I guess being in India is worth this particular sacrifice. Again thanks for all your support. We miss you all, Christian.

We are praying for your health and strength for all your team!

Encourage and build one another up.

Oh yes, tea. I remember adjusting to the Kenyan tea made with camels milk. It took a while.

Have fun all!

Oh for a cup of good dasi chai!

Thanks Christian for your good update. I will have your photos up on the screen tomorrow and have the 1st years in the intro to mission class pray for each of you. We will ask the Lord to bring healing from illness and strength for you and Ian to not get ill.

Sounds like your schedule is busy with lots of travel so we will pray for safe roads and good running vehicles.

Bless you all. We are holding you in our hearts. You’re an awesome bunch!

Rob- Pat sends her love too.

lol oh the chai that was amazing stuff although i do have to agree it does somewhat taste like coffee, but its ok Christian just think you are submersed in that culture as soon as you get back you can have all the tea you want. Do you guys get a lot of sprite?

Love you guys and many hugs and prayers,
Toma

It will be exciting for you to be home making a pot of tea, at the end of your wonderful trip, Christian! The trip sounds like such a blessing for each of you. I hope you are all better Sarah and that you are all better or at least on the mend Kevin. We'll pray that you all stay healthy for the rest of the trip.
Love from Christian's Mum

Christian -
What a wonderful experience you and your companions are having. The "tea"sounds great. When you return you may miss it so much you will try to duplicate it here! We certainly are praying that you stay well and we pray that the others in the group recover soon. We look forward to hearing more about your activities when you get back!

Best wishes to all,
Aunt Bev and Uncle Read

Hi Christian and team India, not to burden you but please remember Zipricks in your prayers, Becky's Mom (Pastor Matt's Grandmom) in Virginia, passed away unexpectantly on friday.
Bless you and enjoy the Water Buffalo tea, you won't get it here. Love Mum

It is so amazing that God has given you this opportunity! I know kids in so many parts of the world right now, from CLBI and from YWAM. It is so much fun to read everybody's blogs, and hear how God is using you and blessing you.
Treasure everything in your heart!
Encourage each other. I hope you are all feeling well now.
Looking forward to your presentation when you get back!
You are in our prayers.
The 1st years spent last weekend at Mulhurst, and I think miss you, at least a little bit!
We are in His care, here and there.
Blessings and prayers,
Marlys (& Len) - Kara's mom & dad
